Grandpa got to meet Nico for the first time! He misses his grandpa when he is working far far away in Las Vegas. Nico thinks it sounds like a fun place to visit though...I think Louie thinks it sounds fun too! What a suprise!

Nico turned 2 weeks old yesterday! I took him to the Dr. for his 2 week appt. and he weighs 8 lbs 2 oz which means he has gained exactly 1 pound since we took him home from the hospital. He has also grown 3/4 of an inch. The Dr. said that is excellent weight gain but if he keeps it up he will have to go on Jenny Craig eventually! Nico also lost his umbilical cord this morning and I am happy to report that he has a very nice innie bellybutton!

Nice update, Des! Does it look like Nico has a hint of red to his hair? I notice it every once in awhile in pictures.
