9 mos. & Ready for Christmas!

Nico and his buddy Burke that I babysit every day. Burke is 1 month younger than Nico and they LOVE playing together. It is really cute because they squeal with excitement every morning when they see each other and then they spend the rest of the day taking ALL of the toys out and distributing them across the floor for mommy to pick up ;) They also enjoy taking the toys out of each other's hands and I keep waiting for them to cry but they totally don't care yet. They just find another toy! So funny!

Nico and 1 day old Jack. This picture is priceless! Nico looks shocked that Jack is crying and poor Jack just wanted to be swaddled and cozzi. Jack had to learn right away that we make these babies do crazy things for a cute picture!

Ready for the snow!

Nico's 1st visit to see Santa. We waited in line over an hour but it was fun to see how mezmorized he was with Santa. Nico just stared at him. We couldn't get him to turn towards us for a picture! At least he didn't cry. Nico has been a very good boy this year and he asked Santa for a Blackberry and a bottle of water....his two favorite things of mommy and daddy's to play with.

Jack's arrival!

Lindsey had her baby! John (Jack) Andrew Litton arrived on December 12th. He was nice and easy on his mom so she had a nice easy labor and I arrived to the delivery room right as she was starting to push. She pushed 4 times and out came Jack. He is so precious and we love him so much we can't stand it! He looks just like his daddy...Louie is a little jealous! We are still trying to convince them to move to Wheaton...we need to see Jack EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At 8 months Nico is pretty efficient about getting anywhere and everywhere in the house. Babyproofing is definately necessary. His favorite thing is being chased by Lou down the hallway. I will attach a video because it is so funny. He is such a happy baby.

Tuckered out after a wedding in West Palm Beach. Everyone loved his tie!

Nico was the best baby ever on our trip to West Palm Beach. Everyone asked if he ever cries. We had a great weekend, we just wish we could have stayed longer!

Fall Fun

We went to The Morton Arboretum this weekend to take some fun fall pictures of Nico and us as a family. He was wearing the perfect fall outfit so he looked ADORABLE and people kept stopping us to look at our little "model"! We had a happy baby (like we always do!)and got some great pictures. Lou and I went to The Morton Arboretum last fall when I was pregnant and we couldn't wait to bring our baby here to take pictures...so that is what we did! It was a little chilly but Nico was a trooper. We LOVE our boy!!!!!!!!!

Nico is growing so fast. He is now army crawling and getting into everything. The baby proofing is definitely necessary now. He is getting ready to start crawling so it is fun to watch him start getting up on his hands and knees. He is a wiggle worm now and it is getting near impossible to change a diaper or get him dressed. Nico also has quite a little sense of humor...when we "bite" his fingers or toes he laughs at us...however this has backfired because he will take my finger and chomp down on it with those 2 sharp baby teeth of his and then laugh....I guess it is our fault! He is a very fun baby and we are really enjoying all of his new accomplishments and his little personality that is shining through!

My matching boys! There was a big Northwestern game on so daddy and Nico got ready to watch the game together. He has officially said his 1st word...."dada!" Of course no one is more proud and excited about that than daddy. He also says "hi" or "hi dad" all of the time. He is so smart saying 2 word sentences already!!!! He does say it a lot but he does say it when he sees daddy too so I think he knows what he is saying but he doesn't always know when to say it. I still think he is a smarty pants though and am a proud mama.....and yes...we are still working on "mama!"
