Yes, today was my due date and no, we have not had the baby. Stay posted. It HAS to happen before too long!

2 weeks to go until our baby boy's due date! Lou is taking the bar exam Feb. 24th and 25th so he has been studying like crazy. Every day when I leave for work he says, "Keep that baby in there!" I am sure I can keep him in here for another week and once that bar exam is done I will be ready to see my baby boy. I feel great and I am still going to work up until I have the baby. I do have a fear of squatting down in preschool to talk to a little kid and my water breaking. I told maintenance to be ready for a cleanup! My mom & I went on a hospital tour last night and that was fun to see where I will be giving birth and spending the first few days with my baby. The rooms look super nice and newly decorated and pretty big so I think it will be a nice experience. I need to get my car seat installed today and then everything will be totally ready for him to come...after Lou takes the bar of course!

Showered!
Sunday was our beautiful baby shower. It was held at St. Andrews and Baby Boy Chiappetta was certainly "showered"! Here is a picture of the candy bar favors...
Nursery: In Progress
One of our guest bedrooms has been painted this blue color since we moved in. When we found out we were having a boy, Lou decided that certainly this room should become the nursery!
With the help of my mom, Lindsey, and Tyler, we added the brown stripes on Saturday. In addition, we added some additional shelves in his closet. (Note, the mattress is not in the crib yet. That is just a folded up blanket.)

24 weeks
Here I am at 24.5 weeks. Baby Boy Chiappetta is starting to kick a lot! Everyone's favorite game right now is trying to feel him. Baby's favorite game is kicking as soon as they take their hand off of my tummy!
Here I am with Lindsay Lars making picture frames for his nursery. We already have the crib set up and have picked out bedding in blue and brown. It's so fun getting everything ready for his arrival!
